About Beonic
Beonic is an Australian-headquartered enterprise SaaS company delivering venue analytics solutions to airports, retail shopping malls, retail stores, stadiums, municipalities and large public venues. With 11,000 venues deployed across 55 countries and regional teams in ANZ, North America, EMEA, South Africa, Middle East and Brazil, Beonic is a global business with a genuine growth story. Our platform integrates WiFi analytics, people counting, LiDAR (CrowdVision) and Beonic Vision — software that layers over existing CCTV infrastructure — to give venue operators actionable intelligence on how people move through and interact with their spaces.
About the Role
The Business Development Representative – Retail is a full-cycle new business sales role focused on driving net-new revenue growth across Beonic's retail verticals throughout the United Kingdom and mainland Europe. You will own opportunities from prospecting and qualification through to commercial negotiation and contract close.
The role is scoped to Beonic's retail product set:
Retail Vision — Beonic Vision camera analytics for multi-site retailers, layering AI-driven analytics over existing CCTV infrastructure to deliver insights on shopper movement, occupancy, queues and store performance.
Retail Counting — people counting solutions for retail stores and multi-site retail portfolios.
Retail Property — Mall WiFi & Counting — WiFi analytics and people counting for shopping centres, REITs and retail property operators. You will work closely with the EMEA Customer Success team, Marketing, Solutions and the CRO to deliver against ambitious FY27 ARR targets.
Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business Development – Full Cycle
Own the full sales cycle for new business across the UK and mainland Europe — from prospecting and qualification through to commercial negotiation and contract close. Build and maintain a robust, qualified pipeline aligned to Beonic's FY27 revenue targets across the retail and retail property verticals.
Vertical Focus – Retail & Retail Property
Develop and execute account-based sales strategies across the two priority verticals. Lead engagement with leading multi-site retailers and the region's major retail property operators (REITs, shopping centre groups, listed property funds) to position Retail Vision, Retail Counting and Mall WiFi & Counting.
Installed-Base Expansion
Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within Beonic's existing UK and European retail and retail property customer base — converting single-solution customers to the broader platform and growing multi-site rollouts.
Strategic Account Planning
Identify, prioritise and develop a target list of Tier 1 and Tier 2 retail and retail property prospects across the UK and key mainland European markets. Build account plans that map decision-makers, influencers, technical evaluators and commercial sponsors, supported by clear engagement strategies tailored to each country and customer.
Solution & Value Selling
Lead consultative, value-based sales conversations that translate retail operations challenges — footfall, conversion, occupancy, queue management, tenant performance — into clear, quantified business outcomes. Present Beonic's integrated proposition in a way that resonates with both operational and executive stakeholders.
Partner Engagement
Build and maintain relationships with system integrators, IT/WiFi partners and consultants relevant to the UK and European retail and retail property markets, in collaboration with the CRO.
Pipeline Management & Forecasting
Maintain disciplined pipeline hygiene in HubSpot. Provide accurate weekly and monthly forecasts to the CRO, supported by clear deal qualification, risk assessment and well-documented next steps for every opportunity.
Marketing & Demand Generation Partnership
Work closely with the global Marketing team to inform UK and European retail campaigns, events, ABM programmes and content. Represent Beonic at industry events and conferences across the UK and mainland European retail and retail property calendar.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with EMEA Customer Success, Solutions Architecture, Product and the wider sales team to ensure customers experience a coordinated, high-quality Beonic engagement from first contact through to deployment.
Requirements B2B SaaS Sales Experience
3–5 years of demonstrable B2B SaaS or technology sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets and full-cycle ownership from prospecting to close.

Vertical Experience
Direct sales experience into retail (multi-site retailers) or retail property (shopping centres, REITs, property operators). An established UK and/or mainland European network across these sectors is highly valued.
Sales Cycle Management
Demonstrated success managing multi-stakeholder sales cycles with deal sizes typically in the £20K–£150K ARR range, including larger multi-site rollouts. Comfortable navigating procurement, IT security, data privacy (GDPR) and legal processes across multiple European jurisdictions.
Solution & Value Selling
Skilled in consultative, value-based selling methodologies (MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPIN or equivalent). Strong commercial acumen with the ability to construct ROI cases and executive-level proposals.
Technical Fluency
Sufficient technical literacy to credibly discuss SaaS platforms, IoT sensors, AI / computer vision concepts, WiFi analytics, APIs (REST, JSON), data integrations and cloud architectures with both technical and non-technical buyers.
Communication & Executive Presence
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the credibility to engage stakeholders across operations, IT, marketing, finance and the C-suite.
European Language Proficiency (Desirable)
Business-level proficiency in one or more major European languages — such as French, German, Spanish, Italian or Dutch — in addition to English is highly valued for engaging with mainland European prospects in their native language.
Tools & Systems
Proficiency with HubSpot CRM (or equivalent), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and modern AI tooling (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) to maximise sales productivity, prospecting and account research.
