Job Overview
Mallory Industrial Coatings Ltd. are seeking a Powder Coater / Labourer to join our team.
The successful candidate will predominantly be working as a dedicated powder coater, operating the coating equipment within the spray booth, ensuring effective application of powder to raw parts. On occasion, also assisting with other aspects of the powder coating process, which includes the preparation & hanging of the raw parts and the packaging of the finished product.
Responsibilities
- Operate powder coating equipment safely and efficiently
- Apply powder coatings evenly using spray guns
- Assist with preparation of metal surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or masking prior to coating
- Assist with packaging of the coated parts
- Assist with general day to day cleaning & maintenance
Experience / Skills
- Powder coating experience preferred; however training can be offered to the right candidate, who is keen and willing to learn
- Ability to adapt and work well within a fast-paced production line environment
- Ability to work within a team, cooperating well with colleagues and management
40 hours per week: 07:30 - 16:00 Mon - Thurs. 06:30 - 12:30 on Fridays.
