We are looking for a Part-time Filling Machine Operator to join our team for 2-3 days per week (more days available during busy periods).
The successful candidate will be working as part of a busy filling & packing team, operating our pneumatic filling machines and ensuring that all products are filled according to specifications and quality standards. The Filling Machine Operator will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment, and providing assistance to other team members as needed. Full training is provided on our equipment and procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Follow safety protocols in the workplace.
- Operate pneumatic filling machines safely and to output targets.
- Carry out fill weight and volume checks in line, and adjust to keep product within tolerance.
- Assist with line changeovers between products, container sizes and batches.
- Perform in-line quality control checks and escalate any out-of-specification product.
- Cap, label and pack products for shipment.
- Clean down machinery between batches in line with procedure.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
