We are recruiting for an experienced Support Worker to join our team in Crawley.
You will have experience in Ofsted registered home providing support to the client base. Our shifts run from 9am - 9pm, 9am - 11pm with a sleep in or 9am-9pm waking night.
We have day and night positions available. Successful candidates must be able to work alternate weekends.

What will I do as a Residential Care Worker working for Nelbro Care Homes?
Using life skills, you will have the opportunity to make a huge difference within a young person’s life. Helping them to overcome any difficulties or disadvantages they may face - allowing them to strengthen their future. You will meet a variety of young people, some of whom may require high levels of supervision and support.
What will you be doing?
- Assisting the service users with day-to-day tasks (education, laundry, shopping, budgeting, college applications and teaching independent life skills)
- Accompany the service users out in the community (doctor’s appointments, leisure activities)
- Complete daily logs and weekly reports
- Partake in Key work with the service users
- Follow structured reporting procedures
- Following safeguarding procedures
- Supporting and monitoring their healthcare needs
- Seek to understand their communication needs and adapting your communication to each individual
- Working with other professionals, such as doctors, therapists, and outside agencies to ensure consistency of support
- Develop positive relationships with colleagues and other key stakeholders
