We can serve up to 1200 customers per day, and our café sees its highest volume of orders between 11am – 2pm — so we’re looking for a confident, experienced cook who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while still delivering top-quality food every time.

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Kitchen Team Member / Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. You will play a key role in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene, contributing to an excellent customer experience in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and meal assembly in line with recipes and standards
- Cook and serve a range of hot and cold dishes (pub-style menu) to a high standard
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including utensils and work areas
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Support the team during busy service periods to ensure smooth and timely service
- Restock ingredients and supplies to keep kitchen operations running efficiently
- Adhere to health and safety procedures to prevent accidents or contamination
- Work collaboratively to maintain a positive and productive team environment
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working in a busy café or kitchen environment
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
- Confidence preparing a variety of dishes to a consistent, high standard
- Good understanding of food hygiene and safety practices
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Flexible availability across weekdays and weekends (Mon–Sun)
- A genuine passion for food and willingness to learn and develop
Experience (Desirable but Not Essential)
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience (training can be provided)
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and presentation
- Experience in customer-facing roles within hospitality is beneficial
Working Pattern
- 3 weekends per month required
- Additional shifts available across a 7-day rota
