Overview
Curado Bar is an independent Spanish restaurant that prides itself on supplying authentic dishes from across Spain, sourced and imported by our parent company Ultracomida. We are now searching for an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager who will bring a strong focus on team and restaurant development. The role will require strong organisational skills and a desire to develop a team and ensure that both the staff and customer get the very best of what the restaurant has to offer. The role will come with full training in Spanish food and wine, but a keen interest & experience of leqading teams in a hospitality environment is a necessity.
Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth functioning
- Supervise and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and develop product knowledge
- Delegate tasks and monitor performance to optimise productivity and increase quality of service
- Maintain stock control and organisation
- Handle customer enquiries with professionalism
- Contribute to sales management strategies to maximise spend per head in the restaurant and deli
- Assist with administrative tasks such as reporting, stock control, and record keeping
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across the venue
- Lead by example in demonstrating leadership qualities, fostering a positive team atmosphere
Experience
- Previous management or supervisory experience within a hospitality environment is essential
- Proven track record in team management, organisational skills, and time management
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on motivating teams and driving performance
- Experience in administrative capacities, record keeping and compliance with various regulatory bodies
- Building and delivering sales strategies and staff training events
