Role Overview
As Registered Manager, you will lead the day to day management of a 2 bed children’s home, ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations and the Children’s Homes Quality Standards. You will be responsible for safeguarding, staff leadership, quality of care, stakeholder engagement, and operational sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Ofsted Registered Manager and Designated Safeguarding Lead
- Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance
- Lead, recruit, train, and manage the staff team
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, admissions, and placements
- Build strong relationships with local authorities, families, and professionals
- Manage budgets, occupancy levels, and continuous service improvement
Requirements
- Level 5 Leadership & Management is required or ability to complete course during employment
- Proven experience as a Registered/Home Manager
- Strong safeguarding, leadership, and compliance knowledge
- Enhanced DBS and full UK driving licence
- Ability to work flexibly (including evenings/weekends)
