We are looking for a part-time Baker to join our busy, family-run farm shop bakery team.
At Farmshop at Cranswick, we pride ourselves on producing homemade pies, pastries, cakes, and bakes using quality ingredients and traditional methods.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys baking from scratch and takes pride in producing high-quality food for our farm shop and café.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a range of homemade pies and pastry products
-Produce cakes, traybakes, scones, tarts, and other sweet bakes
-Assist with recipe preparation, weighing, mixing, and finishing products
-Ensure products are presented to a high standard for our shop displays
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and cleanliness in the bakery area
-Follow stock rotation and minimise waste
-Work efficiently to meet daily production requirements
What We’re Looking For
-Previous experience in baking, pastry, or food production is essential
-Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- A genuine passion for homemade baking and attention to detail
-Good organisational and time-management skills
-Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures Hours
Part-time
Some early mornings, weekday shift and alternate Saturdays
Some flexibility may be required during busy periods and seasonal events
