This role manages and develops the organisation’s digital presence and audience engagement across both the Theatre Royal and The Green Room platforms. It involves shaping and implementing online marketing strategies, managing digital communications channels, and creating impactful storytelling content that showcases the organisation’s values and purpose , promotes performances and hospitality offers, and strengthens brand identity. The post holder plays a key role in analysing and reporting on campaign performance to inform planning and decision making.
Key Responsibilities
Role specific
- Lead the development and delivery of our digital marketing strategy, including paid campaigns, SEO, Google Ads, website pixel implementation and tracking, and conversion-focused optimization.
- Update content across the Theatre Royal and The Green Room websites.
- Oversee and maintain all social media channels, ensuring consistent tone, quality, and brand alignment.
- Create impactful and engaging digital content from concept to final edit, to promote the full scope of our creative programme and hospitality offer.
- Produce advocacy content that highlights Theatre Royal’s work and impact, helping to tell our story to stakeholders and supporters.
- Support influencer activations by providing social content guidance and best-practice recommendations.
- Track and regularly report on key metrics including engagement, reach, audience growth, website traffic, and conversion-supporting activity.
- Present digital campaign ideas and insights to external parties.
- Identify emerging trends, platform updates, and content opportunities.

Pay: £30,680.00 per hour
