DELIVERY DRIVER

As our business expands we are increasing our delivery network, and in light of this growth we are in search of new Delivery Drivers to support the team.
As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of goods to our customers.
The successful candidate must be flexible to cover routes across England & Wales & will carry out a varied mix of Driving & Warehouse Operative roles at our site in Southam.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
This role will involve the following responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles and containers.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles and containers.
- Providing exceptional customer service to our client base.
- Reviewing orders prior to delivery.
- Obtaining delivery confirmation to our client base using handheld devices.
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
- Ensuring the van is clean and ready for the next delivery.
- Carrying out risk assessments and daily safety checks on the van.
- Follow all applicable traffic and transportation regulations, including driving within speed limits, proper use of seat belts, and adherence to vehicle weight limits.
- Comply with company policies and procedures regarding vehicle operation and safety.
- General warehouse maintenance duties.
- Breaking down pallets and Storing stock appropriately
- Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck
- Using handheld scanners to pick orders for delivery.
- Picking and packing.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Full Driving Licence
- Good geographical knowledge
- Strong Customer Service and Communication Skills
- Experience of manual handling.
- Good time keeping and attendance record.
- Must be an excellent team player.
- Ability to meet regular targets.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Be willing to follow all health and safety guidelines.
- Be willing to work overtime and flexible to work different shifts as and when necessary.
- Be willing to undergo any internal/external training that may be required.
Desirable Skills & Experience
· Forklift Truck Licence.
