Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
- Provide exceptional patient care by welcoming patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and organised work environment to uphold health and safety standards.
- Manage appointment schedules, including booking, confirming, and rescheduling appointments as needed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote overall dental health.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient service.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is required.
- Proficiency in English is required, with strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care with a compassionate approach.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with IT systems used in dental practices is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided as necessary.
