Position: Golf Simulator Installer - SALARY NEGOTIABLE
We are Golf Studio Design, a leader in creating bespoke golf swing studios tailored to the needs of professional golfers, golf clubs, and private clients. Our custom-designed studios integrate the latest in golf simulator technology, utilising TrackMan Golf radar launch monitors alongside top of the range technology and materials. We manage every aspect of the installation process, from design to handover, ensuring our clients receive a seamless experience with one point of contact throughout the project.
We are currently seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic Golf Simulator Installer to join our team. This dynamic role involves the preparation, installation, and maintenance of cutting-edge golf simulators and technology at both commercial and residential properties, as well as at temporary events. The successful candidate will be a hands-on problem solver with a passion for delivering high-quality results, ensuring client satisfaction through exceptional service and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation: Install golf simulators and associated technology at client premises, including commercial venues and private homes, across the UK and internationally.
- Manufacturing Assistance: Assist with the production of simulator components at our Grimsby facility.
- Event Support: Participate in the setup and installation of simulators at trade shows, exhibitions, and hire events.
- Client Communication & Training: Conduct pre-installation site surveys, liaise with clients and contractors, and provide technical training and support to customers on the use of the simulator systems.
- Professional Representation: Present yourself and the company in a professional, positive, and cheerful manner at all times.
- Team Support: Collaborate with other departments and assist with various business needs as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Trade Experience: Practical skills in trades such as refurbishment, fit-out, or a similar field are highly desirable.
- AV & IT Knowledge: Experience with AV (audio/visual) systems and computer installations is a significant advantage. Mainly projectors, PCs and sound systems.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on delivering high-quality results with precision and care.
- Problem Solving: Ability to think quickly and effectively under pressure, managing time and tasks efficiently.
- Physical Work: Enjoyment of hands-on, physical tasks with a willingness to undertake hard work.
- Customer Interaction: Excellent communication skills and the ability to train clients in the use of the installed technology.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the UK and internationally, including overnight stays when required.
- Driving License: A full UK driving license is essential.
- IT Proficiency: Comfortable using computers and learning new technologies.
