The Restaurant
Kolamba Soho is an award-winning independent Sri Lankan restaurant in the heart of Soho. Inspired by family recipes from Colombo, we are known for bold flavours, warm hospitality and exceptional quality. We use fresh British produce, house-made spice blends and traditional techniques to create authentic Sri Lankan dishes.
The Role
As a Chef de Partie, you will run your own section, maintain exceptional food quality and support the wider kitchen team to deliver consistently outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare, cook and present dishes to Kolamba's standards.
· Ensure mise en place is completed before every service.
· Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
· Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef during service.
· Support and mentor Commis Chefs and junior members of the team.
· Assist with stock rotation and minimising waste.
· Maintain consistency, pace and attention to detail during busy services.
What we're looking for
· Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie.
· Passion for cooking with fresh ingredients.
· Calm under pressure in a busy service environment.
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
· Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
· Excellent team player.
· Flexible to work evenings and weekends.
