This isn’t a full-time job and there are no guaranteed hours - it’s simply flexible tutoring work offered when suitable student enquiries come in.
We’re looking for people who know their subject, can explain things without making them more confusing, and are comfortable working with young people.
We’re especially interested in tutors for National 5 and Higher Maths, English, Physics, Biology and Computing.
This could be ideal for university students, graduates, trainee teachers or existing tutors looking to pick up some extra work alongside other commitments.
You don’t need to be a teacher, but you do need to be reliable, approachable and confident in the subject you want to tutor.
Relevant qualifications and appropriate PVG membership will be required before working with students.
CB Tutoring will handle the enquiries and student matching - you just focus on the tutoring.
Pay: £25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2.0 – 8.0 per week
