Our video production service has become a cornerstone of our offering, helping businesses engage their audiences through high-quality, professional video content. Now, we're looking for an experienced videographer to join our growing team.
The Role
We're seeking a talented, professional Videographer to plan, shoot, and edit a diverse range of business videos for clients across the South West - as well as for WDSEO. You'll be a key part of our creative team, producing compelling content that helps our clients' products, services, and companies come to life on screen.
All equipment will be provided by WDSEO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute video shoots across the South West, visiting client locations and managing on-site production
- Shoot professional-quality videos in all the types we offer (see below)
- Edit and post-produce video content using industry-leading software
- Liaise with clients during pre-production, production, and post-production phases
- Quote on client work – providing accurate estimates and proposals for video projects
- Create in-house content for our own website and social media, including company videos and educational material
- Provide content for our website about our videography offerings to help attract and inform potential clients
- Produce educational and FAQ videos that help our prospects overcome concerns and make informed buying decisions
- Develop our videography offering – researching new video types, techniques, and services to expand and enhance what we can deliver to clients
- Maintain professional standards in equipment, workflow, and client communication

Skills and Experience
For this role, we are happy to consider candidates with varying levels of experience.
Essential Requirements:
- Valid Driving Licence and willingness to travel throughout the South West for client shoots
- Proven experience producing videos across all / many of the types listed above (portfolio)
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software
- Strong technical knowledge of camera operation, lighting, audio, colour grading, and video formats
- Excellent communication skills with clients and internal team
- Project management skills to handle multiple productions and deadlines
- Experience coaching nervous presenters or first-time on-camera talent
Desirable Qualities:
- Experience with SEO-optimised video content
- Knowledge of video distribution and performance metrics
- Experience working with business clients
- Understanding of brand guidelines and how to implement them in video work
- Experience with motion graphics, animations, or visual effects

The salary will be competitive and will depend on your experience. This role is based in our Plymouth office, with travel across the South West.
