Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Junior Block Manager to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone looking to begin or develop a career in block management. Working alongside our experienced Property Managers, you will assist with the day to day management of a portfolio of developments, helping to deliver a prestige standard of customer service to our clients.
Full training and ongoing support will be provided, with excellent opportunities for career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Property Managers with the day to day management of a portfolio of developments spanning East and West Sussex, growing to manage a dedicated small portfolio with support from a Senior Property Manager
- Respond to leaseholder, director and contractor enquiries by telephone and email.
- Arrange repairs and maintenance works and monitor progress through to completion.
- Carry out supervised site visits; Identify and report maintenance, health and safety and compliance issues.
- Assist with organising and preparing for directors meetings, AGMs and resident meetings.
- Assist with Section 20 consultations and major works administration where required.
- Liaise with contractors to arrange access and monitor completed works.
- Support the onboarding of new developments
- Maintain accurate property records and update the property management system.
- Work closely with the accounts team regarding service charge queries
- Undertake any other reasonable dutied to support the Property Management team.

- Willing to travel to managed developments as required
Desirable
- Previous experience in a customer focused, administrative, housing, property or facilities role
- Knowledge of residential leaseholde management a bonus but not essential
- Working towards, or interested in studying, a professional qualification such as TPI Level 2/3
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential

Pay: £25,500.00-£29,000.00 per year
