Position: Full-Time / Part-Time Barista Experience Level: Experienced (1+ years)
We are launching our 3rd coffee shop in Woolwich, and we’re on the hunt for passionate, skilled baristas to help us build our community from the ground up. If you love the smell of freshly ground beans, thrive in a bustling atmosphere, and pride yourself on pouring the perfect latte art, we want you on our founding team. The Role As one of our founding baristas, you’ll do much more than just press buttons. You’ll be the face of our new shop, crafting exceptional beverages and delivering the kind of top-tier service that turns first-time visitors into daily regulars.
What you’ll be doing: Crafting Quality: Dialing in espresso, steaming milk to perfection, and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages to our exact standards.
Owning the Rush: Managing high-volume periods with speed, accuracy, and a calm, collected demeanor
Spreading Good Vibes: Greeting customers with a genuinely warm attitude, taking orders, and making recommendations.
Keeping it Clean: Maintaining a spotless bar setup, operating the till, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
What We’re Looking For Experience: At least 1 year of professional barista experience in a fast-paced environment. You know your way around a commercial espresso machine and grinder. You don't sweat the morning rush. In fact, you thrive on the adrenaline of a long line and keep a cool head when the pressure is on. You are naturally positive, proactive, and a team player. You're punctual, dependable, and ready to tackle the unique challenges (and excitement!) of opening a brand-new shop.
