Your Technical Impact
- Lead and deliver complex engineering activities from planning through implementation.
- Analyse technical problems and develop practical, reliable engineering solutions.
- Review engineering designs, specifications, processes, and technical documentation.
- Support engineering projects and ensure work is delivered to agreed quality and performance standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, safety, and technical performance.
- Work closely with operations, projects, quality, and other engineering teams.
- Investigate technical issues and contribute to root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement and engineering optimisation initiatives.
- Maintain accurate technical records, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Contribute to engineering standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and other team members.
- Participate in technical reviews and contribute to project planning and decision-making.
What You'll Bring
- A degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Significant experience in an engineering role relevant to your technical specialism.
- Strong technical knowledge within mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, systems, or a related engineering field.
- Experience solving complex engineering problems and delivering practical solutions.
- Understanding of engineering design principles, technical documentation, and quality standards.
- Experience supporting projects, technical improvements, or engineering change initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with relevant engineering software, systems, tools, or technical platforms.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
- Ability to provide technical guidance and support to colleagues.
- Relevant professional membership, chartership, or industry certification is advantageous.
- Candidates must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
