Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and innovative Fashion Designer to join our creative team. Responsibilities
- Develop original fashion concepts and collections based on market trends and brand direction
- Create detailed sketches using digital design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and CAD software
- Utilise programmes like SketchUp, Maya, and Sketch to develop 3D visualisations of designs
- Produce technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing purposes
- Collaborate with pattern makers, fabric suppliers, and production teams to ensure design integrity during development
- Conduct research on colour palettes, textiles, and accessories to enhance collections
- Maintain an up-to-date portfolio showcasing current projects and innovative ideas
- Assist in photo shoots by providing styling input and overseeing the visual presentation of designs
- Stay informed about emerging trends in fashion, web design, graphic design, and digital media to incorporate fresh ideas into collections
Experience
- Proven experience in fashion design or related creative fields such as graphic design or web design
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant software including Maya, CAD programmes, SketchUp, and After Effects
- Strong skills in digital design, sketching, photography, HTML, CSS, and graphic design are highly desirable
- Experience with colour theory, textile selection, and technical pattern drafting is advantageous
- Portfolio demonstrating a range of fashion projects that showcase creativity, technical skill, and versatility
