Job Summary As a Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring that our operations comply with all relevant gambling regulations, and licensing conditions. You will be responsible for monitoring compliance processes, assessing risks, and implementing policies that align with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Compliance in ensuring the company adheres to all relevant gambling regulations and licensing requirements.
- Conduct outbound customer calls for due diligence and source of fund requirements
- Review and process customer KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) documentation.
- Monitor customer activity to identify potential compliance risks, including fraud, money laundering, or problem gambling behaviour.
- Investigate and resolve compliance-related customer issues while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
- Maintain accurate compliance records and assist with internal and external audits.
- Provide compliance-related guidance to internal teams, ensuring company policies align with regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant with evolving legal and regulatory standards.
Key Requirements:
- Graduate-level education or equivalent professional experience in compliance
- Prior customer service or sales experience is preferred
- Strong customer relationship skills, with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and email.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of UK Gambling Commission regulations
- Familiarity with KYC, AML, and responsible gaming procedures.
- Experience handling customer queries related to compliance and risk management.
- Proficiency in compliance software and CRM tools.
