Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Temporary Labourer to assist with relocating our joinery workshop to a new premises. The role will involve packing, lifting, loading, transporting and organising workshop equipment, materials, tools and stock.
You will work alongside our workshop team to ensure the move is completed safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position suited to someone who is practical, dependable and comfortable working in a busy workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pack and prepare tools, materials, stock and equipment for transport.
- Lift, carry, load and unload workshop items safely.
- Help move timber, sheet materials, workbenches and machinery components.
- Take care when handling valuable tools, finished joinery and specialist equipment.
- Assist with general labouring and workshop tasks as required.
Requirements
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out regular lifting and manual work.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Careful and respectful when handling tools, equipment and finished products.
- Practical, organised and willing to help with a variety of tasks.
- Comfortable working in a joinery or construction-related environment.
- Available for the full agreed period of the workshop move.
Pay: £85.00-£102.00 per day
