We are looking for an experienced Stock Manager, who will be responsible for the supply chain of goods in the warehouse by organising the flow of stock. You will direct, organises, and supervises the activities of the stock management team. This is an exciting opportunity to join our new site in Rugby.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure complete product traceability and stock accuracy.

Plan and lead inventory processes, analyse variances, and implement corrective actions.

Investigate root causes of stock issues and prevent recurrence.

Respond to customer/supplier needs and escalate critical issues when required.

Track KPIs and SLAs, driving ongoing improvement.

Uphold all ID Logistics health and safety standards.

Turn performance targets into clear operational actions and manage your activity budget.

Drive innovation and continuous improvement by empowering your team.

Assess team performance, identify development needs, and support growth.

Encourage collaboration across teams, departments, and sites.
Your skills & experience:
-
Proven background in a warehouse stock control position within a warehouse environment.

Previous experience within a 3PL environment would be advantageous although not essential

Experience managing inventory accuracy, cycle counts, stock investigations, and root cause analysis

Hands on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Experience leading a stock control team

Demonstrated ability to work with goods in, goods out, and replenishment teams to resolve discrepancies

Experience producing and analysing inventory reports, KPIs, and audit results

Exposure to continuous improvement or lean methodologies to reduce errors and improve stock flow

Experience coaching and developing team members

Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, high volume warehouse

Strong communication skills for working with cross functional teams

Experience implementing or enforcing high operational standards and compliance
