We have grown steadily since this date, building a carefully curated team of automotive specialists across several markets. Hilton Group is going through an exciting time of growth with a new state of the art facility being built on our HQ site. We have a workforce of around 100 employees and quickly growing, based at our premises in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire, UK.
About the Role
- Working within a parts team of 5 with a direct report to an experienced Parts Manager
- Working closely with our Vehicle Technicians to ensure the correct parts are sourced and delivered to the technician in a efficiency manner.
- Maintain goods in, parts locations (on multiple floors)
- Follow up with suppliers on progress of orders/ back orders and order delivery schedules
- Ensuring quality making sure parts deliveries are checked, identifying damaged parts or incorrect parts
- Using modern computer systems to identify parts needed for each manufactures models, electronic parts catalogue’s, online ordering
- Use of the internet to source parts
Required Skills
- Good communication skills to articulate concisely with customers and colleagues
- Phyiscal fit. The role requires allot of lifting and moving across multiple floors.
- Attention to detail is paramount
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Comfortable working in a very fast-paced environment
- Warehouse, stocking management skills.
- Knowledge of bodyshop/ accident repairs
- Team player
- Computer literate
- Good with administration & project management
- Proactive - following up within agreed time frames
