Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated part-time hospitality assistant to join our team in. This role involves providing exceptional guest services, assisting with food and beverage preparation, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service to enhance their experience
- Assist with food preparation, presentation, and serving in accordance with food safety standards
- Support kitchen staff with meal assembly and basic culinary tasks as needed
- Handle delivery orders efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations
- Take orders over the phone with professional phone etiquette and record details accurately
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and dietary options to guests
- Assist with setting up tables, clearing dishes, and resetting the dining area between guests
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or food preparation is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Experience as a delivery driver or in courier services is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage positively with guests
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work part-time hours including evenings and weekends as required
- Basic culinary skills or barista experience are advantageous
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
