Nursing Home Manager – Turnaround
Whitchurch | £80,000 + £20k bonus
Have you turned around a struggling care home before? and are you ready to do it again, with real backing this time?
This is an elderly nursing home in Whitchurch that needs the right leader to take it over and turn it around. Full ownership. No micromanagement. No layers of approval slowing you down.
If something needs to change, you’ll have the authority to change it.
Ask yourself:
- Have you successfully turned around an underperforming care home?
- Can you walk into a struggling team and rebuild its culture from the ground up?
- Do you know exactly what CQC needs to see — and how to get a home there?
If that’s you, keep reading.
The role:
Assessing the home fast and building a clear recovery plan. Rebuilding team culture, morale and retention. Raising care, compliance and safeguarding standards. Preparing properly for CQC inspection. Rebuilding trust with residents and families.
You’ll be backed by senior support and real resources. But the home will be run your way.
You’ll need:
- Previous care-home turnaround experience — essential
- At least two years as a Home Manager or in a comparable senior role
- An elderly nursing or complex-care background
- Understanding of CQC requirements and recovery from poor ratings
- Strong commercial awareness
You’ll need to make hard calls and bring people with you. Not everyone can. If you can, this is built for you.
£80,000 + £20k bonus. Full ownership. A home you can genuinely make your own.
