Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across our commercial premises. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on delivering high standards of cleanliness in a professional environment. Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces across commercial sites
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning duties
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and professionalism during all tasks
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory; full training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Organised with strong attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
This role is for 1 - 2 hours a day, 6 days a week.
Pay: £12.25-£12.75 per hour
