Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Courier Driver to join our team. As a multi drop Courier Driver, you will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of goods to various locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and be comfortable with heavy lifting.
Responsibilities
- Operate a van or similar vehicle to transport goods efficiently and safely.
- Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload items, ensuring that all packages are secured properly during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Assist in the organisation of warehouse operations as needed, contributing to an efficient workflow.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, particularly in commercial driving or van driving.
- Strong ability to drive safely under various conditions, demonstrating excellent navigation skills.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading goods.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous.
- A valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated is essential.
The position is located in Dpd Leeds ,Morley. For this job the ideal candidate is one who has at least one year multi drop delivery experience. You will need to have a full UK license and no more than 6 points on your drivers license or previously banned . DBS certificates would also be necessary but can be requested later if not at hand.
TRAINING
2-5 days training of £50 each day will be paid only after working with us for 13 week! No training money is provided prior to this period. any individual who decides to leave prior to this time NO payment for training will be released. this ensures dedicated and reliable drivers

Salary: £100.00-£160.00+ per day

Schedule:
- Up 10 hour shift with a 7:30am start (No negotiation on start time)

Experience:
- Multi-drop Delivery Exp: 1 year (preferred)
