Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Trainer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering CPD-accredited training to both internal team members and external professionals.
You’ll work closely with the Director, Training team, Service Manager, and Practitioners, playing a vital part in shaping how PEGS grows and supports others through training and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Delivery & Design: Design and deliver high-quality training sessions for professionals and team members, keeping content aligned with CPD standards and PEGS’ values.
- Content Tailoring: Adapt training materials to suit different audiences and sectors (e.g., social care, education, justice).
- Continuous Improvement: Update and refine learning resources based on participant feedback, evaluations, and emerging best practices.
- Events & Workshops: Support and facilitate conferences, online workshops, and regional learning events.
- Resource Management: Maintain accurate training records, feedback forms, handbooks, and operational documents.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 1+ years’ experience designing and delivering training to professionals or diverse groups.
- Strong facilitation and public speaking skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of trauma-informed practice and safeguarding.
- Experience with lived-experience inclusion in learning environments.
- Understanding of the charity / third sector.
- UK driving license and access to a vehicle (frequent travel required).

Pay: £13.50 per hour
