Tyre Fitter – Full Time
R&R Motor Group – Rotherham
We are looking for a Tyre Fitter to join our team at R&R Motor Group in Rotherham.
The main part of the role will be fitting, changing and repairing tyres. We are expanding this side of the business and will shortly be running a winter tyre promotion, so we are looking for someone who is confident working with tyres and happy to get stuck in.
Although this is not a mechanic position, we would favour someone who has some basic mechanical knowledge and is comfortable carrying out straightforward servicing and maintenance work when required.
Duties may include:
- Fitting and changing tyres
- Tyre repairs
- Wheel changes and general tyre work
- Oil and filter changes
- Air and fuel filter replacement
- Brake discs and pads
- Basic servicing and vehicle maintenance
- Assisting our mechanic with straightforward workshop jobs
- Keeping the workshop and tyre area tidy and organised
You do not need to be a fully qualified mechanic. We are more interested in finding somebody practical, reliable and willing to work as part of a small team.
Previous tyre-fitting experience would be preferred, and any additional experience with basic vehicle servicing would be a big advantage.
Full-time position.
Based in Rotherham.
Pay negotiable depending on experience.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
