We are a UK-based LED lighting company specialising in high-quality, custom-built lighting solutions. We’re growing fast and are looking for a dependable, hands-on team member who enjoys variety in their work — from building and soldering LED strips to assisting with day-to-day office tasks.
Role Overview
You will play a key role in the smooth running of our workshop and production operations. The role combines order fulfilment, basic assembly and soldering work, stock handling, and general office support. Training will be provided, but good practical skills and attention to detail are essential. The ability to solder is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse/ Workshop & Fulfilment
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain stock levels and carry out regular inventory checks
- Receive and organise stock deliveries
- Keep the workshop clean, safe, and organised
Assembly & Technical Tasks
- Cut, solder, and assemble LED strips and lighting components
- Test products for quality and functionality before dispatch
- Assist with building bespoke lighting kits and systems
- Follow safety procedures and quality standards at all times
Office & Administrative Duties
- Process orders and update internal systems
- Print labels, prepare documentation, and manage basic paperwork
- Support customer enquiries via email/phone where required
- Assist with general day-to-day administrative tasks
Skills & Requirements
Essential
- Strong practical/hand-skills (experience with tools or small-part assembly)
- Ability to solder with past experience
- Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- Reliable, organised, and comfortable juggling different tasks
- Basic computer skills (email, order processing, spreadsheets)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Physically able to handle warehouse duties (lifting boxes, moving/ unpacking stock)
Desirable
- Previous warehouse/ workshop, production, or assembly experience.
- Experience working with electronics or LED lighting
- Experience with smart lighting control & smart home technologies
- Familiarity with couriers, shipping platforms, or stock systems
