Qualifications
REQUIRED
§ BA or BS degree or equivalent education and experience
§ 2+ years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry
§ A proven track record of successfully implementing software or web development projects using Agile methodologies including 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing large, complex projects in a high-tech development environment with multi-function teams
§ Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
§ 1+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing large, complex projects in a high-tech development environment with multi-function teams
§ Experience overseeing multi-function project teams including Developers, Business Analysts, and QA Personnel
§ Ability to collaborate with customers and develop strategies and solutions of high business value
DESIRED
- Project Management Certification is a plus
- Analyzes high level business requirements with to produce workable development solutions that are both in line with client requests and suitable for the application
- Creates and organizes design documentation, wireframes, user stories with acceptance criteria, and developer tasks
- Sufficient level of technical background to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues
Working Conditions
This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.
§ Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night
§ Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the work place
§ Work surface is stable (flat)
