Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable <PERSON> driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various destinations while maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. Duties
- Safely operate <PERSON> vehicles, including delivery trucks and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods across designated areas
- Load and unload items, often requiring heavy lifting and careful handling to prevent damage
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure the vehicle remains in optimal condition
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and inventory records
- Assist with warehouse activities when necessary, including organizing shipments and managing stock movement
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong driving skills with experience in commercial vehicle operation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus for understanding logistics workflows
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Knowledge of safety procedures and traffic regulations applicable to commercial driving
