Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, responsible Night Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of the Hotel and its guests during the night. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail. As a Night Porter, you will be the first point of contact for guests that check in after 10pm and depart before 8am
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with their luggage as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the lobby, entrance, and public areas.
- Conduct regular Fire Walks throughout the night.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and directions as required.
- Assist with breakfast set up.
- Monitor the condition of hotel facilities and report any maintenance issues to management.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality by demonstrating professionalism at all times.
Skills
- Strong communication skills with a focus on guest services.
- Previous Night work is essential though not necessary in a Hotel environment.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries and reservations.
- Ability to work alone.
- Computer usage is required so keyboard experience is a must.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness.

Pay: £12.80-£12.90 per hour
