Headingley Court Care Home is a 25 bed care home for younger adults with physical disabilities and acquired brain injuries .We are looking to employ a cook to work alongside our part time cook and kitchen assistants
Hours are 9am-4pm or 8am-3pm on a set two week rota
Week one
Monday,Tuesday,Friday,Saturday,Sunday
Week two
Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday
Role will involve preparing and serving a varied and healthy diet for 25 residents
Completion of a monthly varied menu
Working within our food budget
working with the manager to order stock.
Competition of relevant paperwork
Supervision of the kitchen assistant
Experience in staged diets ,diabetic diet and food allergies an advantage but not essential
Experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential
Formal catering qualifications essential
Needs to retain 5 star food hygiene rating and Good rating with CQC
