Local family run building firm is looking for a full time Experienced Carpenter to join their busy and growing team. Our projects are primarily domestic and tend to be within the local area but can be further afield.
As an Experienced Carpenter, you will be expected to carry out all 1st and 2nd fix carpentry on our projects. You will also have experience in reading plans and will be able to understand and work to plans, whether fitting kitchens, studwork, staircases or cutting on a roof. You will be a team player, willing to turn your hand to anything in order to support other areas of projects.
Qualifications & Experience
- A relevant qualification in Carpentry/Joinery
- A minimum of 10 years' experience (including but not limited to working on extensions, renovations and structural works)
- Full UK driver’s Licence.

- Able to communicate with customers and sub-contractors
- Able to work as part of a team or independently
- Willing to carry out other duties as reasonably instructed by the Site Manager
- A firm understanding of site Health and Safety
- Willing to work with an apprentice

Benefits
- Salary Range £38,000-£50,000 (depending on level of experience)
- Hours: Mon-Thurs 08:00-16:30, Fri – 08:00-13:00
