Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Lecturer to support our academic team. The successful candidate will assist in delivering high-quality education, engaging with students, and contributing to the development of course materials. The candidate must be native Romanian with Fluent English. You must be holding qualification in Engineering , Business or Biology.
Duties
- Assist in preparing and delivering lectures, seminars, and tutorials in Both Romanian and English across various subject majors.
- Support lecturers in interpreting lecture course content into Romanian , preparing assessments, and learning materials in Romanian.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Participate in academic meetings, workshops, and curriculum development activities.
- Evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback to aid their academic progress.
- Utilise IT tools effectively to enhance teaching delivery and student engagement.
- Maintain organised records of student attendance, assessments, and other administrative tasks.
- Contribute to departmental initiatives aimed at improving teaching standards and student satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Native Romanian and English with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Prior experience or strong interest in teaching within an academic setting.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Good IT skills, including familiarity with educational software and online learning platforms.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and students.
- A recognised degree or equivalent qualification relevant to the subject area. This role is paid and suitable for individuals eager to develop their academic career while contributing positively to student success.
- You must hold at least Masters degree in Engineering, Or Business or Biology.
Pay: £22.00-£25.00 per hour
