We are a civils and groundworks contractor based in Blantyre working on sites throughout Scotland and the North of England. At the moment majority of our works are based on the railway however we do have off track work too.
Due to the railway work, we work all different shifts - dayshift, night shift and weekend working.
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Ground Worker for infrastructure sites. This role requires strong understanding of ground works and construction and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks effectively to deliver high-quality results.
Essential:
- Proven experience in Ground works / Civils / Construction • Experience with excavation, concrete, kerbs and hard landscaping • Strong knowledge of groundwork operations • Ability to work as part of a team • Strong communication • Proactive problem‑solver • Commitment to safety and quality • Reliable, punctual and hard working
Preferred:
CSCS • First Aid at Work • Machine tickets (360, dumper, roller) • Temporary works awareness • PTS

Due to the nature of the works we will not be holding formal interviews but paid trial shifts on a Saturday night.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.00-£25.00 per hour
