Quality, Compliance & Governance Manager

Serencroft Healthcare is seeking an experienced compliance and quality leader to take ownership of governance across our five care homes.
This newly created senior role will act as the named lead for CQC relationships, drive clinical governance and quality improvement group-wide, and provide the Board with robust assurance through structured reporting and a group risk and quality register. The postholder will work closely with our Home Managers to embed consistent standards, support improvement action plans, and ensure lessons learned are shared and sustained across all services.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead CQC engagement, inspection responses, and registration of new homes
- Own serious safeguarding, complaints, and whistleblowing matters through to closure
- Direct clinical governance across falls, medication safety, infection prevention and control, and related areas
- Deliver annual KLOE-aligned inspections and work in partnership with Home Managers to agree and track resulting action plans
What we're looking for:
- Substantial senior compliance or quality experience within adult social care, ideally across multiple sites
- Detailed working knowledge of CQC Fundamental Standards and safeguarding legislation
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills, with the ability to present clearly to Board level
- A confident, credible communicator capable of building trusted working relationships with regulators and operational teams alike

Pay: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
