Job Summary

Duties
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service.
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications.
- Oversee food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and standards.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs effectively.
- Develop new recipes and menu items to keep offerings innovative and appealing.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting professional development and teamwork.
- Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment at all times.
- Monitor food presentation and ensure consistency across all dishes served.
Experience
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within hospitality or restaurant settings.
- Supervising experience is highly desirable, demonstrating leadership capabilities in managing teams.
- Strong background in food production, food preparation, and cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential.
- Experience in restaurant operations or catering services will be advantageous.
- Familiarity with serving procedures and customer service principles is beneficial.
- Previous experience in culinary roles that involve team management and leadership responsibilities will be considered an asset.
