We are seeking a proactive and organised Office Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting daily administrative operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of the office environment. Responsibilities
- Answering and directing phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail
- Organising and maintaining physical and electronic filing systems
- Assisting with scheduling appointments and meetings for staff members
- Preparing documents, reports, and presentations as required
- Ordering office supplies and ensuring stock levels are maintained
- Supporting team members with administrative tasks to enhance overall efficiency
- Greeting visitors and providing exceptional customer service when necessary
- Performing general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and data entry
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is desirable but not essential
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar programmes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst being a team player
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all tasks undertaken
- Friendly demeanour with a professional attitude towards colleagues and visitors
- Previous experience using office management software is a plus but not mandatory

Pay: £12.71 per hour
