Office Administrator - 6 Months Contract
Full Time - 36.25 hours per week

Rochdale Boroughwide Housing is looking for an experienced Administrator, to join us as an Independence and Wellbeing Assistant on a 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to support services that help customers maintain their independence and wellbeing, whilst delivering high-quality administrative support across a busy and customer-focused team.
This is a hybrid role with regular on-site attendance in Rochdale, therefore it is essential you currently live within a reasonable commuting distance of Rochdale.
What you'll be doing as our Administrator:
In this varied role, you'll provide essential administrative support to the Independence and Wellbeing Service, helping to ensure customers receive an efficient and professional service. Your responsibilities will include:

Maintaining accurate records and databases

Ordering goods and services

Communicating with customers, colleagues and external agencies

Supporting the wider Independence and Wellbeing team with administrative tasks

Working collaboratively with internal teams and partners to deliver excellent customer-focused services

Helping to ensure service standards, objectives and performance targets are achieved
What are we looking for from our Administrator?

Strong administrative experience and an excellent attention to detail

Excellent organisational skills and can effectively prioritise a busy workload

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Good Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams) and database management skills

The ability to confidently support customers with a range of needs, including those who may be vulnerable or experiencing difficult circumstances

The ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues, customers and partner organisations

An adaptable and proactive approach, and able to work in a changing environment
