Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team in creating high-quality upholstered furniture pieces. The Upholsterer will be responsible for working with various fabrics and materials to assemble and upholster furniture items.
Responsibilities
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, sew, and fabricate upholstery materials
- Upholster and assemble furniture pieces according to specifications
- Perform repairs and replacements on damaged or worn-out upholstery
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace in the upholstery department
Qualifications
- Proficient in heavy lifting to handle furniture pieces
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and sewing machines
- Ability to fabricate and assemble furniture components
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is advantageous
