We are conducting a product testing study in Central London and are seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support its delivery. This is a fixed-term, on-site position for approximately two months, with an immediate start. The Healthcare Assistant will support the daily running of the study by taking capillary blood glucose readings and assisting participants throughout each testing day. Full training on the study procedures will be provided by SAVA staff. The role does not involve administering treatment or medication, or making any medical decisions.

Take capillary blood glucose readings (fingerpricks) from participants using a commercial blood glucose monitor, applying clean and safe technique

Support and monitor a group of 5–8 healthy adult participants who remain on site for the full testing day

Follow the study protocol accurately, ensuring correct timing and consistency of readings

Record readings and observations clearly and accurately

Maintain a clean, safe testing environment and follow correct hygiene and sharps-handling procedures

Report any concerns or unusual observations promptly to SAVA staff

Training or experience in healthcare (e.g. Healthcare Assistant, phlebotomist, nursing or paramedic student, or similar)

Experience working with patients or participants in a clinic, laboratory, or health-products setting

Competent and confident in capillary blood sampling (fingerpricks)

Available to work on site in Central London, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, across July and August

Reliable, professional, and comfortable with detail-focused, protocol-driven work

Phlebotomy or venepuncture certification

Experience supporting clinical trials or research studies

Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training
