Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our guest bedrooms. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in commercial cleaning, ensuring environments are safe, tidy, and welcoming for our guests. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, bedrooms and other communal areas to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Regular linen changing
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels and toilet roll as needed
- Use specialised cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to maintain a safe working environment
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a high standard of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within set timeframes
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
