UTC Swindon is seeking an enthusiastic Workshop Manager to support our Engineering and Specialism curriculum. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a STEM-focused school, helping students develop the technical and employability skills needed for successful careers.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining our workshops and technical facilities, ensuring a safe, organised and engaging learning environment for both students and staff.
You will be an individual who can manage and maintain the workshop equipment, tools and resources, provide technical support to staff and students during practical lessons and projects, ensure compliance with health and safety and be able to carry out routine maintenance and safety checks.
We are looking for someone who has experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, technical or workshop environment. You would possess strong practical skills, be organised, proactive and enjoys working with young people.
