About the Role
The National Shooting Centre is expanding its commercial training and target sports offering. We are looking for a proactive and capable individual to support the day-to-day delivery of Target Sport operations across multiple disciplines.
This is a practical, hands-on role. It will suit someone who is comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, enjoys a varied working environment, and is able to take ownership of tasks without constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of commercial marksmanship training programmes
- Assist with the organisation and delivery of clay shooting competitions at the National Clay Shooting Centre
- Oversee and coordinate airgun and archery activities (indoor and outdoor), ensuring facilities operate smoothly across multiple locations and stakeholders
- Provide front-of-house support, including customer interaction and bookings where required
- Maintain equipment, targets, and range facilities to a high standard
- Support corporate events and commercial shooting activities across the site
About You
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Practical, hands-on approach
- Well organised and reliable
- Comfortable dealing with customers and members of the public
- Flexible and willing to support multiple areas of the business
An interest in, or understanding of:
- Clay shooting (Skeet and Trap)
- Archery
- Air rifle and air pistol shooting
Clay shooting instructor experience is desirable but not essential
Working Hours
This role will include some weekend and occasional evening work, depending on operational requirements.
