We are seeking a talented and passionate Level 3 Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hair services to our clients, ensuring they leave feeling confident and satisfied. You will be responsible for creating stylish looks while also offering expert advice on hair care and maintenance. This position requires a blend of creativity, technical skills, and excellent customer service.
Duties
- Provide a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments tailored to individual client needs.
- Engage with clients to understand their preferences and offer professional recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in front desk operations including scheduling appointments and managing client records.
- Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and boost salon revenue.
- Mentor junior stylists and provide guidance on techniques and best practices.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, barbering, makeup application, and eyelash extensions to provide clients with contemporary options.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their concerns effectively.
Skills
- Proficient in various hairstyling techniques including cutting, colouring, and styling.
- Experience in barbering is an advantage but not essential.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to upsell products and services confidently while maintaining a positive client experience.
- Experience in front desk operations is beneficial for managing appointments efficiently.
- Capability to mentor less experienced stylists, fostering a supportive team environment.
- Knowledge of makeup application techniques is a plus for providing comprehensive beauty services.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
