The Role
As Clinic Manager, you will lead a team of nurses and support staff to provide high standards of individualised, patient-centred care. You will oversee day-to-day clinical, administrative, and operational activity at the Bilston dialysis clinic, ensuring patients receive a seamless care experience.
This varied role covers all aspects of clinic leadership, requiring strong people management, operational oversight, and a collaborative approach.
Key Responsibilities of the Clinic Manager:
- Provide overall leadership and operational management of the clinic
- Ensure a welcoming, safe, and seamless patient experience across all touchpoints
- Liaise with external bodies, including NHS Trusts and the CQC, working closely with the Regional Manager
- Identify and implement new processes to drive quality improvement
- Oversee effective onboarding of new staff
- Build positive patient relationships and support resolution of concerns or complaints
- Ensure compliance with governance, clinical, and regulatory standards, including KLoE
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting
Requirements of the Clinic Manager:
- Registered Manager with the CQC, or willingness to work toward this
- Full NMC registration with appropriate nursing qualifications
- Previous clinical leadership experience, ideally within an outpatient haemodialysis setting
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse teams and patient groups
- Lead-by-example approach, fostering a positive, values-driven culture
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise varied tasks
- Evidence of ongoing professional development, ideally related to renal care
