We are currently recruiting experienced Fire Stoppers for a long-term fire remediation project across the AL postcode area. This role involves working within occupied residential properties, so candidates must be comfortable working in live environments and maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out fire boarding works within roof spaces and communal areas
- Reading and interpreting building drawings and specifications
- Completing fire compartmentation works to a high standard
- Recording works with before, during, and after photographs
- Completing daily job sheets and site documentation
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Working professionally within occupied residential buildings
Requirements
- Blue CSCS Card (minimum requirement)
- Proven experience in passive fire protection and fire stopping
- Strong experience carrying out fire boarding works
- Ability to confidently work from building and construction drawings
- Previous experience working on occupied residential or social housing projects
- Good understanding of fire compartmentation principles
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach
- Own van and tools required
- Full UK Driving Licence

- Before, during, and after photos required for all completed works
- PPE and ID must be worn at all times
- DBS checks may be required
