Skilled Metal Decking Installer
£45,000 – £60,000 per annum | Permanent | PAYE

Multi Trades Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading structural metal decking contractor looking to appoint 5 experienced Metal Decking Installers on a permanent basis.
This is a skilled position and applicants must have proven experience specifically installing structural metal floor decking.
The Role
You will join an established installation team working across major commercial and industrial construction projects, predominantly throughout Scotland and the North East of England.
Duties will include:
- Installation of structural metal floor decking systems
- Setting out and positioning steel decking sheets
- Fixing decking to structural steelwork
- Cutting and forming decking around openings and edges
- Working from technical drawings and specifications
- Installation of composite decking systems including MetFloor
- Working alongside edge shuttering and associated steelwork
- Working safely at height and around fall-arrest systems
- Using MEWPs and relevant powered tools and equipment
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety
Requirements
- Previous professional metal decking installation experience is essential
- Valid CSCS Card
- Valid IPAF qualification
- Confident and experienced working at height
- Working at Height qualification preferred
- Experience with MetFloor 55, 60 and 80 advantageous
- Edge shuttering experience advantageous
- Ability to work effectively as part of an experienced installation team
- Willingness to travel between projects
Hours & Salary
- £45,000 – £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience
- 7:30am – 4:30pm
- Permanent PAYE position
- Full-time
- Immediate starts available
- Projects across the UK, with the majority of work throughout Scotland, particularly Glasgow and Aberdeen, and the North East of England
